Children who turn 5 by the 30 June 2015 are eligible to attend Prep in 2015. Children who turn 5 by the 30 June 2016 are eligible to attend Prep in the 2016 school year.

The Prep Year is perhaps one of the most important years of schooling.  It is in this year that a child’s foundation for success is laid by developing:

  • a positive approach to learning

  • independence and confidence

  • thinking and problem solving skills

  • language skills

  • early literacy and numeracy

  • physical abilities, including gross and fine motor skills

Our staff are qualified Early Childhood Teachers who are supported by trained teacher aides with a wide range of specialised skills to ensure that they are an important part of our classrooms.

We look forward to the opportunity of forming a partnership with you and your child.  For further information download our Prep Parent Handbook - May 2017 Update.pdf

Preparing for Prep

Each year early in Term 3, our future Prep students and their families are invited to a Prep Open Day in which children can come along, participate in classroom activities, familiarise themselves with the Prep classrooms, meet our friendly staff and make new friends.

Throughout Term 3 and Term 4 in the lead up to Prep  parents and students are encouraged to participate in our Pre Prep Program. This programs consists of a variety of classroom sessions each focussed on developing skills in specific areas. Information on our Pre Prep Program and the session focus is avaiable on our home page at the start of term 3.

To complete the enrolment and transition process 1-1 parent teacher interviews are then conducted to gather further information about your child to ensure that they have the best possible start to their schooling journey.

To collect an enrolment pack please contact our school office.
